I'm a high-energy, high-impact performance poet. I've won "Best of Fest" at FronteraFest ("The fringe theater event of the Southwest!" - Austin American Statesman), for 3 different group and individual shows. My poetry has been featured in 4 AMC TV's short film nights in NYC -- Hulk Night, Batman, Bigfoot and Video Game Night. I am the Grand Slam Poetry Champion of San Antonio, TX.
"Great writing, great performance and a ton of range (from highly confessional and personal work to hilarious homages to breakfast cereal mascots. I'm just sayin')." - Austin Slammaster Mike Henry
"[He] is a very, very, very good slam poet.... His feature at the Austin Poetry Slam last night was refreshing. He writes funny, sentimental, political, etc. And he does it all by balancing the ethereal with the empiric quite nicely. Plus, he finds the connections in life.... It's identity poetry without being unoriginal (which 99% of identity poetry is). Look out, Indie Finals!!!" - Andy Buck, 5-time Austin Slam Team member, star of the movie Slam Planet
"[He] simply owned the slam from round one on, proving once and for all that he is, for better or worse, a true San Antonian! He has officially removed the stigma of being from (gulp!) Austin, so hecklers, beware!" - San Antonio Slammaster, Shaggy Gossard.
