Steven Tashjian has performed contemporary and Middleastern music for many years. He attended Boston Conservatory and studied with Band Leader, Charles Movessian. Steve's talent and passion for music has created part of the nucleus for Classic Groove.

A Native of Manchester, NH, Ashley has been singing and performing all over the country since the age of nine. She currently is in her 4th year of study at Berklee College of Music where she is a Vocal Performance and Music Business Management Major. Prior to joining Classic Groove in 2006, she sang in the musical duo 'Fantasy' along side her sister; together they recorded two albums. Ashley's passion, energy and versatility will surely catch an audience's attention.

KEVIN MAGARIAN

Kevin has played both acoustic and electric guitar since the age of nine and has studied with William Brenshaw of Berklee College of Music and Violinist Fred Elias. Kevin has performed with various bands in the Greater Boston area and throughout New England. Special areas of interest- Rock, Rhythm and Blues, Latin and Middleastern music.

Even as a child, there was never any doubt that Steve would be a musician. Learning both piano and drums by ear, he was playing professionally by age 14. At 19 he began touring the East Coast with Top Drawer, a pop band which featured five part harmony. After that he settled in the Boston area and pursed his voice studies while playing private parties with Festival. He was also a headliner at area coffee houses in a songwriting duo, singing and playing piano, percussion and dulcimer. In the nineties he formed Counterpoint, and was the house drumer on a popular Boston Harbor Cruise. For the past 12 years he has taught and performed at MetroWest childcares and compsed and produced the original CD/Album, The Heart of a Child. Currently he gives private lessons, sings, plays drums and brings his versatility to a number of area bands including Classic Groove.
