Born in Muskegon Michigan, musical Influences were LL Cool J, Public Enemy, De La Soul, NWA, Big Daddy Kane, Tupac, Bigg, Nas & Jay-Z.
Classic (birthed Joel Meeks) has had the ability to adapt too many surroundings. So national recognition has always been his objective even at the start of his journey. The native Michiganian was always inspired by the states great history in music of past Michigan greats.

After the release of Phoenix New Sun 3 Classic in Feb NBA All-Star Weekend in Phoenix AZ Classic was starting to get the attention in his city that he needed from the likes of signed artist in his community Black Wall Streets "Juice" with there featured track "Inauguration" Has opened up for DJ Quik and Kurrupt as seen on the video footage and also been on shows with Juice, DJ Quote, P-Thoro, Hannibal Leq, Trap. Most importantly his own movement Have head lined Phoenix events as seen in videos. With Young Vo a up and coming artist out of South Central Los Angeles the two along with their incarcerated counter part "Benafit" started the Vo-Tron movement in 2004.
