About Classic Rock 100

This page was built as a tribute to my favorite radio station of all time - the 100,000 watt powerhouse known as Classic Rock 100. (WVNA-FM) But it will also contain history of WVNA AM-1590, as well as the FM's predecessor formats; "V-100" (CHR/Top 40) and "Lite 100" (Easy Listening/Adult Contemporary).

PLEASE NOTE: I built this page as a tribute to my favorite radio station which I listened to practically since birth (when it was AC format). I am a former employee of WVNA (sadly, the post-Cumulus 105.5/1590 versions) -- but this site otherwise has no official affiliation with WVNA, URBan Radio Broadcasting, or other parties, nor has it been commissioned/endorsed by them.

It should also be mentioned that all trademarks and copyrights are retained by their respective owners, and are used here only for historical preservation. I will gladly post any images that are sent to me, and will give appropriate photo credit. If however you see an image for which you own the rights, please message me immediately and I will either add photo credit or remove the image, whichever you wish.

Mark Narmore	Jan 4 2008 3:14 AM As an illustrious "FM" dj, as Frank Rodgers used to say, I could never remember to walk over and change that A.M. transponder in the mornings, so instead of Dr. Joy at 8am, the 1590 audience got a little white noise!!!lol!!! we could all write a book on the crazy stuff and shenanigans that went on over there. It all makes me smile, thanks for making my brain go there again. mark
