I've been out of town so much I've lost touch with what's going on musically. Since I'm nowhere close to being a movie buff, and am pretty much done with the mainstream sit-down parties for now, my friends have assigned me the surprisingly difficult task of finding musical venues to go to, things along the lines of Nick Cave, the Decemberists, Mogwai, Spiritualized, meaning, at least in my opinion, great lyrics and music, not just performers like Christina Aguilera and well, I'll leave it alone, you know what I mean? Everyone I'm really into seems to be playing somewhere in Europe!
Pleas let me know anything you can in terms of what's going on in L.A. for the next month or 2.
