Imagine classic rock radio stripped of the sissy stuff like Kansas, Boston and Styx, leaving just great guitar rock from Clapton, Hendrix, Lynyrd Skynyrd and the like. Then add in the best of outlaw country, immortals like Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash and, er, Dolly Parton. Throw in a gratuitous 80’s cover or two, some Stevie Wonder, maybe even some pseudo disco, and you start to get an idea of what goes into a typical Classic Tawnies set list. You definitely don’t want to miss their “Sweet Caroline,” no two versions are ever the same.
