Painting, that's what I did. I am dead you know.
They say I was one of the founders of
Impressionism. What's that you may wonder? It's a
way of painting what you see. Letting it all rush
at you in a blur of color and form and, most of
all, the light.
Try this. Go outdoors and gently let your eyes go out of focus by looking first at something close and then
something far away and back again a few times so that what you see becomes blurred, more of an impression of
what you see than the thing itself. Then try to imagine that captured on canvas.
