Sono un'illustratrice ed aspirante lavoratrice nell'ambito dell'animazione. Il mio percorso nasce dalla passione per il fumetto e per l'invenzione di storie, racconti e romanzi autoprodotti e spesso mai conclusi, per la troppa fretta di inventarne di nuovi.
Il mio mondo ha subito numerose influenze man mano che procedevo inoltrandomi sempre più nel sentiero dell'arte: sono partita dalla passione per il disegno giapponese, ma successivamente ho aperto gli occhi sul contesto europeo e su tecniche e stili più originali.
In questa fase ho frequentato un corso propedeutico di fumetto organizzato dalla Scuola Internazionale di Comics di Firenze.
Si è rivelata una tappa fondamentale, quantomeno per farmi capire che la mia vera passione era quella dell'illustrazione.
La prima sfida come illustratrice si è presentata nel 2004, quando la Edimond, una casa editrice di Città di Castello in Umbria, mi ha proposto di realizzare le illustrazioni per il libro per bambini “Bruco Story”, di Livy Former.
Dopo il diploma di Liceo Linguistico, la decisione di iscrivermi all' Accademia di Belle Arti di Perugia. Ho optato per il corso di Scenografia, che rispondeva al mio interesse per il teatro, venuto alla luce grazie ad un corso di recitazione frequentato per due anni.
I tre anni passati in Accademia mi hanno orientato verso nuovi e più ampi orizzonti, introducendomi alla storia dell'arte, del teatro e del costume. Da un punto di vista pratico ho assimilato tecniche e stili, padronanza del disegno geometrico e dello spazio, del disegno e della progettazione di ambienti, figure ed elementi di scena.
Nel frattempo ho frequentato un corso estivo di progettazione e realizzazione di marionette per il teatro di figura presso il TIEFFEU di Perugia.
L’anno dopo il mio bozzetto è stato selezionato dagli organizzatori della manifestazione “Archeofestival”, ed è stato realizzato come fondale per il concerto di Franco Battiato insieme ad altri studenti del dipartimento di Scenografia.
Ho di recente collaborato con il gruppo musicale Intergalactic Voo, realizzando copertina, inlay e booklet del loro ultimo cd “Humans, Machines and Other Technologies”.
Mi sono appena laureata con una tesi sulle tecniche tradizionali dell’animazione relazionate alla macchineria teatrale, al cinema degli albori e all’illustrazione. Dal punto di vista pratico ho realizzato un cortometraggio in stop-motion intitolato “Orlando Furibondo. Storia metropolitana di cavalier, arme ed amori”, liberamente ispirato al poema di Ludovico Ariosto.
Attualmente lavoro presso lo studio Fusako Yusaki di Milano, realizzando animazioni in plastilina di cortometraggi destinati alla televisione svizzera, giapponese, ed alla Rai.
I am an illustrator and aspirant worker as animator. I have started from the passion for comics and for the invention of stories and novels often never concluded, for the too hurry to invent something new.
My world has suffered a lot of influences as I proceeded in the path of art: I have departed from the passion for the Japanese sketch, but than I have opened my eyes on the European context and on techniques and more original styles.
In this phase I have frequented a comics' course organized from the International School of Comics in Florence.
It has revealed fundamental, somehow to make me understand that my true passion was that of the illustration.
The first challenge as illustrator has come in 2004, when Edimond, a publishing house, has proposed me to carry out the illustrations for the children's book "Bruco Story", of Livy Former.
A year later, the decision to enrol at Fine Art's Academy in Perugia. I have opted for the Stage Designing's course , that answered to my interest in theater, born thanks to a recitation's course frequented for two years.
The three past years in the Academy introduced me to the history of art, theater and custom. From a practical point of view I have assimilated techniques and styles, learned the geometric sketch, the planning of environments, figures and stage's elements.
In the meantime I have frequented a summer course of puppet's planning and creation in Perugia.
The year after my sketch has been selected by the organizers of the event "Archeofestival", and has been painted, together with the other students of Stage Desiging, as backdrop for the concert of Franco Battiato.
I have recently collaborated with the band Intergalactic Voo, and carryied out the cover and the booklet of their last album "Humans, Machines and Other Technologies."
I have just graduated with a thesis on the animation's traditional techniques related to theater, early cinema and illustration. I have realized a short film in stop-motion named "Orlando Furibondo. A metropolitan history of loves, knights and arms", freely inspired to the poem of Ludovico Ariosto.
Nowadays I'm working in Fusako Yusaki's studio in Milan, carrying out clay animations for swiss, japan and the Italian television Rai.

Ti posso capire... immagino che il tuo nome sia tra i più gettonati insieme al mio e a quello di altre persone sulle porte del paradiso sotto la dicitura "grandi bestemmiatori" :D E non mi dire non hai mai preso il pupazzetto e scagliato contro il muro augurandogli le peggiori sofferenze ;)

Ciao Bellissima!!! Il viaggio di ritorno è stato un pò sballottato.....ma che ci vuoi fà!!!! Anche voi ci mancate tanto....ci stiamo ora riprendendo un pò...!!!
