I mostly perform songs on my own but I love inviting guest musicians to play along... Steve O'kane features on the track "Start a Fight" and I have worked for a time with Essex based singer song writer and multi instrumentalist, Tim Almond. I'm also known as one half of the Cheeky Gulls duo (the other half being Margaret Brown aka Lady Formby). Finally, I have accompanied budding singers such as Sonia Martin, Cheryl Kolcak, and more recently Eva Andreasson... Who will be next?
Song writing came to me not so long ago after I was inspired by the artistes on the local folk scene mainly in the South East of England. I then learned to play a few chords and I was off playing my latest creations at folk clubs and open mike sessions. I also incorporate some French traditional numbers to my repertoire and the occasional pop/rock cover to get the crowds singing along! :)
Hey Claudine! You were just great there on Saturday - esp. loved the French song.... It absolutely chucked it down with rain when we were on, so we finished early, packed up and went home!
Claudine, thank you for a wonderful night @ Red Rock and to the great "The Other Jacksons" added ladies percussion section and of course for having me be part of your last set last night. You are the best!!! Thank you for all the love and support! Cheers, Bri xoxo

Hi Claudine, Thanks for the add. It's good to know you here. Take a look at my new video of The Writing on the Wall from my 2008 acoustic album, Beyond the Blues. Quote from the wall: ‘The wearing of this garment does not enable you to fly’. Thanks, Steve
