Claudio Cruz, guitarrista mineiro nascido em 1981 ganhou a primeira guitarra aos 14 anos, cresceu escutando bandas de heavy metal e hard rock da década de 80 e 90 como Ozzy Osbourne, Metallica e Aerosmith.
Fez aula durante um ano e depois tocava somente para se divertir treinando músicas de bandas como Led Zeppelin e Jimi Hendrix. Tendo que parar aos 18 por motivos financeiros, voltou a tocar 4 anos mais tarde se empenhando totalmente à guitarra, lançando o EP ‘Sonho de Liberdade’ com a banda Excalibur em 2006.
Em 2008, realizou o CD totalmente instrumental ‘Claudio Cruz’ voltando às suas raízes com os companheiros de banda, o baterista Eduardo Scholbi e o baixista Lucas Rocha. ---------------
Claudio Cruz, brazilian guitarist born in 1981 won the first guitar at the age of 14, influenced by 80’s and 90’s hard rock and heavy metal bands that he used to listen like Ozzy Osbourne, Metallica and Aerosmith.
Took guitar lessons for a year and then practiced just for fun, bands like Led Zeppelin and Jimi Hendrix. Having to stop by the age of 18 due to financial problems, got back into practicing 4 years later (taking it more seriously) which lead to the recording of the EP ‘Sonho de Liberdade’ with the band Excalibur in 2006. In 2008, recorded a total instrumental CD ‘Claudio Cruz’ backing to his musical roots with bandmates Eduardo Scholbi and Lucas Rocha.
