Minneapolis has been blessed by strange powers with a vastly diverse music scene. It is an island of hope in a sea of worthless scum and venal losers. Here, great original music can thrive. Clawthroat has carved their own niche into the Minneapolis skyline with relentless live shows and a new breed of folk rock. They put their hearts, sweat, and dreams into their music – bringing out a sense of honesty and simplicity that you won’t find among the suits, skyscrapers, and fancy hats of an industry gone terribly awry.
The show I caught in the Roc Bar in Cleveland blew me away. All 5 bands that night were great -- Hammerloaf, Kill the Hippies, the Pussy Pirates, the Screaming Smoldering Butt Bitches, and you guys -- that was one hell of a memorable concert. Few things in life are as good as that show. And I can't rave enough about your CD. Damn. Hope things are going well for you up there in Minnesota. May the Muse visit you often.
