About me: We invite you to enjoy all the Clay Center has to offer. It's a 240,000 square foot facility with the performing arts, visual arts and the sciences under one roof - one of the few centers of its kind in the country.

Inside the Clay Center's state-of-the-art Avampato Discovery Museum, you'll find two floors of interactive science exhibits, an art gallery featuring selections from the Museum's Permanent Collections and traveling art exhibitions. The ElectricSky Theater presents planetarium shows and giant screen national films on its 61 domed screen.
The West Virginia Symphony Orchestra features world-class musicians performing under the baton of acclaimed conductor Grant Cooper. Concert offerings include the symphonic series, pops series, family series and fully-staged productions of opera and ballet.
As additional services to our guests, the Douglas V. Reynolds Intermezzo Cafe offers food for hungry visitors during the day and before selected performances and the BB&T Little Shop of Wonders Gift Shop features items from West Virginia and out-of-state artisans.
