Clayton Court Studios Wigan was opened in February 2008, Designed to cater for every budget, Clayton Court offers release quality recording for a fraction of the price, featuring a large control room and live room complete with two dedicated isolation booths.
Based around an industry standard Pro Tools HD2 system, we can cater for anything from rough demo and pre-production work to release quality singles and albums. All our equipment is geared to provide every sound that you might require
Demos, EP’s, Albums, Voice overs, jingles, “live” tracking etc are all available, and our engineers have been selected to provide the very best in experience and ability.
To make your recording experience as comfortable as possible we also offer a relaxation area complete with a range of refreshments.
Equipment We Use
Our studio is based around the industry standard Pro Tools HD2 system into a 24Channel Soundcraft Ghost Mixing Desk. Running between both we have SSL Converters providing a high quality Analogue to Digital Conversion with sampling rates of upto 96Khz possible.
HD2 is run on a Mac Pro with a Quad-core intel processor, 4gig of RAM and a 1000Gig Hard-drive ensuring we can run the most demanding of sessions.
We have an extensive range of plug-ins to use including 'Antares Auto-Tune', 'Reason 3 adapted', 'Amplitube' & Various outboard gear from TC Electronics, Ibanez, Behringer & more.
