About me:

About me? hmm, well.. I was born and raised in eastern Ohio, about an hour and a half east of Columbus. Grew up in a wee little town called Bethesda. Kind of hated it at the time but now that I have two wonderful kids I kinda wish I had a town like that for them to grow up in. The whole town was my playground from morning to night.. It was too small for anything let alone a traffic light... I've been in Middletown for almost 10 years and it's definitely home now.. Been married to my wonderful wife Christi for 12 years as of November 11th.. Met her when I lived in Texas, she and I got married and moved to Baton Rouge and lived there for a while.... My work took me there, we didn't move there by choice.... We refer to it as "doing time" in Baton Rouge... The best thing to come out of that place was our daughter..... Otherwise, if the world had a butthole, it'd be Baton Rouge.. Sorry people from Baton Rouge :/ .. It’s all a matter of opinion.... We didn't have much fun there.. :) I entered into my marriage with my acoustic guitar and my Gibson L6-S, and my wife has since picked me up 2 Les Pauls, a Stratocaster, a Telecaster, a butt kickin' Mesa Boogie and the coolest thing of all, besides my daughter, my son.... So, my wife is pretty rockin'... She's definitely my best friend and anyone that meets her sees pretty quickly that she's cool as HECK!!!! Yeah, I said it HECK!!! I'm livin on the edge with my language, I know...
I've been playing guitar for about 26 years or so. Currently in a band called TSO (check out our website if you're interested). Me and my good friend Mark Alexander, a seriously major butt kickin' (there I go with the language again) drummer hailing from Trenton Ohio, have joined up with an incredibly talented bassist and vocalist by the name of Doug Daniels... He's an incredible player with a great voice and he's got us back in the saddle. Check us out if you get a chance...


Well, that's about it..... Other than that I work full time of course.... But who wants to talk about work...? It's just another four letter word ending in "K".....


If I think of anything else that is particularly interesting I'll slap it up here.... Until then I'll leave you with this thought, that lately made me smile for a few reasons and has become dear to my heart and somewhat of a mantra, if you will...
