Who I'd like to meet: People who aren't afraid to lay it down, shy folks, loud folks, collectors of random useless observations, critics, lovers, vandals, and of course, people who forget to put their pens down when they're eating.
~ This week is the Fall Marathon at WMNF 88.5. We keep it commercial free all the time we're not asking for money, and time has shown that fundraising is one of the most humane, even fun ways of keeping our awesome radio station in the works.
Don't forget to call in and support all of your favorite shows! Every pledge is helpful, and you get a chance to write to the station about your feelings on life, the universe, music, and other important matters.
We will be giving away lots of great gifts to encourage folks to pledge. There will be a special hand-made compilation CD premium available during The Roundhouse this week. This 4- 6 am Thursday morning!
22 artists have contributed music for this. Everyone was given less than two weeks to help me put this thing together, so needless to say, a lot of love had to go into it.

This years Asheville REJECTS Film Festival is now taking submissions for the 2007 festival held Nov. 9th-12th in Asheville, N.C. There is NO entry fee required! We are looking for film makers from around the world to compile a massive collection of true independent films. This years Festival will be bigger and better than ever. Mr. Lloyd Kaufman will be attending to receive the lifetime achievement award. Actor, Producer, Director, Writer, Cinematographer, Production Manager, Editor, and Composer, Mr. Kaufman has been a pioneer in true independent film. Agency Films is proud to have Mr. Kaufman grace our festival.
There will be 3 nights of films and a workshop with Lloyd himself.

this show is going to be fun, but you need to do your part by not being stupid. any attention from law enforcement or other tenants in the complex will be bad, so keep it toned-down until later. fireworks rule, but don't do them near the show. just have fun......
