Monday November 3rd 2008 on the eve of the Melbourne Cup, Clean Young Mess provides you art rock aficionados with an ideal escape from the chaos of Cup weekend when we withdraw to the old world splendour of the Toff in Town and present an introspective showcase of Melbourne’s best-kept musical secrets.
Cure your big city blues with the heart-melting sounds of country rock six-piece The Hello Morning, the delicate folk ballads of songbird Freya Hollick, a debut performance from local musician Mark Gage’s ambitious electro-folk collective The MMC and a long anticipated CYM set from post-punk anti-heroes The Paints.
Join us for a drink, a song and the novelty of guilt free highjinks on a Monday night!
