C. CLEAR CINEMA was founded by director CRYSTLE CLEAR for the simple purpose of changing the world. C. CLEAR CINEMA is gracefully building a strong foundation in the world of independent cinema. CRYSTLE CLEAR is a writer and director of film and television who contributes her voice to the world of cinema with grace and victory. The self proclaimed “Clear” graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Media/Television from Valdosta State University and studied film and directing in graduate level courses at Savannah College of Art and Design. She is no stranger to the hard work and dedication of production as she has enjoyed being a crewmember on theatrically released feature films such as “STOMP THE YARD”, "ONE MISSED CALL" “TYLER PERRY'S WHY DID I GET MARRIED?” and “DADDY'S LITTLE GIRLS”, and independent films such as "THE LAST ADAM", "UNEVEN SEEING EYES" and "INSANITY DU JOUR" "MOTIVES 2" and "3 CAN PLAY THAT GAME".

Those experiences led to experience in commercials, documentaries, music videos, television shows, and talk shows. After long hours on set, however, Clear went home to write and direct her own film projects which have BEEN AWARDED in nearly every contest in which they have competed. To date she has directed short films "THE SONG OF TIME", "STANDING REIGN", "FRIEND IN A CAN", "CHAOTIC THEORY", "TELEVISED REVOLUTION" and "NEXT DOOR'S NEXT". Crystle Clear’s music video "RISE UP" for actor/musician IDRIS ELBA won first place in his international video competition and has been viewed by thousands. Recently she ASSOCIATE DIRECTED a short film with acclaimed Gospel musician, comedian, and friend JOHN GRAY. Even more recently, she PRODUCED a commercial directed by Idris Elba, for broadcast in Florida.

In 2007, she competed against 51 teams of directors in the 48 HOUR FILM PROJECT of Atlanta, and walked away with “BEST FILM”, “Best Screenplay” and “Best Acting” for her short film “Standing Reign”, which has gone on to win film festivals around the country including BEST SHORT NARRATIVE at the INDEPENDENT BLACK FILM FEST OF NASHVILLE and BEST SHORT FILM in T.O.M.I, FILM FESTIVAL OF NEW ORLEANS 2008. CLEAR is a member of WOMEN IN FILM/ ATLANTA CHAPTER, and was recently chosen to direct the annual PSA CAMPAIGN. This year's PSA campaign, partnered with GIRLS INCORPORATED OF GREATER ATLANTA, was shot on 35mm Kodak film.

Crystle is to be honored in October at the 34th Annual Women in Film Gala 2008 with the WOMAN TO WATCH AWARD. She also serves on the board for the upcoming KINGDOMWOOD CHRISTIAN FILM FESTIVAL, coming to Atlanta in October, and also works closely with RAINFOREST FILMS who recently enjoyed the success of the feature film THIS CHRISTMAS and just wrapped production on OBSESSED starring BEYONCE KNOWLES, ALI LARTER, and IDRIS ELBA.
Crystle Clear was recently 1 of 4 filmmakers in the nation to be chosen to compete in the CHASE LEGACY FILM CHALLENGE sponsored by Chase, Blackfilm.com, and HBO. She was A WINNER in this competition as well and took home a grant from Kodak for more film. Ms. Roberson is very in touch with her spirituality and gives all honor to God for all of her successes.
