Clear Effect Photos's Blurbs

About me:
ARTIST STATEMENT: Since I was seven, I would always love to photograph my friends and family at the most unexpected times. So I've always had a positive reception for that "natural feel" in people. It wasn't until I was ten, that I was I exposed to the Hip Hop culture of D.J's, break-dancing, and urban lifestyle, which I consistently photograph until today. In my work, I try to stick with themes that interests me while still trying to incorporate that "street feel". My models are either shot naturally or once they get into character. Time and time again, I've made it a habit to shoot until satisfied and edit until I can no longer make changes. As a result, I try to make it appoint that not only do I get a "feeling" from my work, but the viewer as well. Not a lot of people really know what goes down in the Hip Hip culture, so in my street work, it is my goal to portray my subject matter in their "rawest" form possible, to not only give them a chance to show who they are in this scene, but to show the world the beauty of what this culture is about.
