Joining Rich are Dr. Andrew Perea on Violin/Viola and Cellist Rebecca Perea. Equally at home with traditional and contemporary music, the Pereas are half of The Vintage Quartet, who perform throughout the New York Metropolitan area.

Matt Arvotti, bass/guitar, performs with a wide variety of groups from small pit orchestras to rock ensembles on Long Island. A graduate of Carle Place High School, Matt is an active private instructor on bass and guitar in the central Nassau County area. He currently attends Adelphi University.
Simon Miller, percussionist extraordinaire, has a long list of playing, acting, directing and videography credits on Long Island. A recent graduate of Hofstra University, Simon is equally at home in the recording studio, on stage as a musician or actor, in the director’s seat or behind the camera.

Acoustic guitar, bass and percussion meets string quartet head on. Compositionally strong, diverse and consistently engaging mix of influences from rock to classical without pandering to excess.
Guitarist/composer Rich Stein spent his first 20 years bouncing around the Midwest before landing in NYC in 1982. A full time teacher of strings and guitar at a Long Island high school, Rich is happily married with two teenage children, two Labrador Retrievers, four pet rats, many guinea pigs, a chinchilla, and whatever needy animal follows his wife Nancy home on any given day. In the past ten years Rich has recorded three CDs and played extensively around Long Island as a solo performer. In addition to writing diverse music for guitar, Rich also writes string orchestra music, which has been performed by The Metropolitan Youth Orchestra and Violafest among others. His music accompanies the latest NY Child Health Plus TV ads playing throughout New York State.
