Clear To Go is an alternative worship band that seeks to lead
people to the throne of God through creatively taking the genre
of worship music to a new level and investing in lives with the love of
Christ.
Clear To Go was formed in the spring of 2006, though all its
members have been active musicians for several years, the band
as a whole has only been in existence since March of 2006. In that
short amount of time the band has experienced several changes
in their music and writing styles, as well as member changes in the
band, and the continuing opportunities God has given them to carry
out His will.
"We’ve come a long way," says singer and guitarist Kyle Tiner, "It’s
really awesome to see so many of the things God has done for us
over the past year.” The band has been on the road over the past year
leading worship at several Youth Rallies, Camps, Disciple Now’s, and
other various tour dates and events including dates on the Wake Up
Tour with major artist Everyday Sunday, The Our March to April Tour
with Look To The Sky, and dates with other artists including Esterlyn,
The Kari Jobe Band, A Road Less Traveled, and Crimson Soul.
"Traveling together is a blast, we have a lot of fun not just through
each other’s company, but by seeing the work that God is doing with
our ministry, and growing together on top of that through each other
and all the great people we come into contact with." Says drummer,
Dusty Burleson.
With their anticipated release of their Debut Album entitled Are We
Having Fun Yet? Which is set to release in the spring of '09, the band
continues their pursuit of the goal
that God has given them. "We hope that with this album we can reach
the hearts of young and old by just being different," says singer and
guitarist Kyle Tiner, "some people have put a stereotype on what worship
should be like. We believe that worship is worship no matter what genre
or instrumentation, as long as it’s truly a cry out to God for who he is,
and what he’s done and we hope that this album, and that we as a band
can show that to people. We want to truly invest in the lives of the lost,
the found, the young, the old, everyone we come into contact with, that
is the heart of Clear To Go."
