Four Musicians, all with vast experience, join together to give you the best in
classic Pub Rock, 50s, 60s, 70s to present day, something for everyone.
Mainly acoustic-based, but with all the power, drive and energy of any rock blues band.
Songs by The Who / The Rolling Stones / The Animals /The Beatles/ Dr Feelgood plus Tom Petty, Traveling Wilburys, Peter Frampton etc etc.. CLEAR WHITE LIGHT was formed in the Autumn of 2005 by Pete Vickers and Mike Jacques. Pete had done and still does many successful Acoustic gigs,
so putting an acoustic based band together seemed the way to go. Pete recruited old friends Dave Speake on Guitar and Mel Thompson on the drums. They soon put a good set together and went to to the studio to record their first CD, with producer Gavin Moynahan. Many good gigs followed including The Nantwich Jazz and Blues Festival. Now Twelve months on, a few changes with the band Mel has left because of family commitments, and Dave wants to start work on a new project for 2007. Clear White Light still do acoustic based numbers, but have also added many classic early Stones / Dr Feelgood / R&B tunes. The band now has new members Graham Bunt on Guitar and vocals, and Pete Rogers on Drums. Both are excellent pro Musicians, who have been around since the year dot, and played with many named artists. UPDATE: Clear White Light played there last gig at The Railway. Shifnal on 25th November 2007. Pete Vickers, Pete Rogers & Graham Bunt now play as WHITE LIGHT.
