RODNEY KRIP - FIDDLE
Rodney, originally from Prince Albert, SK, He started with classical violin lessons at the age of 8 and has been competing and performing in old time fiddling since the age of 11. He has also been active as a judge at fiddle contests since 1990.
He is a five time Grand Saskatchewan Fiddle Champion (1988, 1989, 1991, 1992, 1993). Rodney has been selected as the Saskatchewan representative at the prestigious Canadian Grand Masters Fiddling Championship in Nepean, ON, was the first Saskatchewan fiddler to make the finals of this national championship in 1994, and was a judge at this event in 1996 and 2008.
Rodney has entertained at various events across Canada, Australia and the U.S.A. With The Cleavers, he has performed throughout Western Canada at numerous contests, travelled to the Canary Islands of Spain, and has been involved with various fiddle camps in the northern United States and Western Canada. At the present time Rodney is a troupe fiddler with the Saskatchewan French Canadian dance troupes "La Ribambelle" and "Les Danseurs de La Rivière La Veille".
Rodney now resides in Saskatoon (SK) with his wife Rebecca and son Reese. He is currently employed as a sales representative for the fertilizer division of Koch Industries.
TYLER KUSHNERYK - FIDDLE
Tyler, originally from Prince Albert, SK, began taking lessons at the age of four, and entered his first contest at the age of eight. He earned the title of Provincial Grand Saskatchewan Champion three times (1994, 1995, 1998). He won the Championship Class in fiddle contests in other such places as Kamloops (BC), Canwood (SK), Prince Albert (SK), and Prince George (BC).
He represented Saskatchewan at the Canadian Grand Masters Fiddling Championship in Napean from 1993 to 1999, and placed in the top 11 in four of those years (1995, 1997, 1998, 1999). He also placed in the top 10 at the 1995 and 1996 Pembroke (ON) Fiddle Championship.
Tyler has actively judged fiddle contests across Western Canada since 1994. Some of these include Carman (MB), Miami (MB), Prince Albert (SK), Kelowna (BC), the BC Provincial Fiddling Championships (Kelowna 1997), and the Grand North American Fiddle Championships held in the summer of 2003 at Wabamun (AB).

Tyler currently resides in Calgary (AB) with his wife Diana Lynn and daughter Savannah. He is employed with Alberta provincial bank ATB Financial as a consumer lender for ATB staff members province wide.
TRENT BRUNER - PIANO
Originally from Canwood, SK, Trent Bruner is one of North America's most sought after fiddle accompanists. Trent's piano and guitar playing skills can be heard on the albums of 38 well known fiddlers. With other musical genres included, Trent has appeared on over 160 albums since beginning recording sessions in 1990.
Trent began his musical involvement at age 12 with piano lessons and guitar coaching at age 15. He holds degrees in elementary music education and elementary classroom education from the University of Saskatchewan, majoring in piano. He is presently working towards a masters degree in ethnomusicology at the University of Bergen in southwestern Norway.
Trent has taught piano and guitar accompaniment both in private lessons and workshops at fiddle and music camps since 1990. He regularly accompanies many of the top fiddle players on their tours, is much sought after as a house accompanist at fiddle contests throughout Canada and is very active as a session musician on many albums throughout Canada, the United States and Norway. Trent is also active as a recording artist and composer. He presently resides in Valestrand, Norway with his wife Hilde Midtbø, older children Silje Midtbø-Vevle, Hogne Midtbø-Vevle, and daughters Hannah Moira and Ingrid Sofie.
