I like the complete turntable culture, from the earlys soundsystem from jamaica and the most strange sounds from the scratch. Sometime i think i am some kind of hipie-punk, reale strange, no?
SELECTER VINTAGE – BIOGRAFIA
Músico y dj, Selecter Vintage, trabaja desde hace más de una década con una diversidad de materiales y ambientes. Influenciado por el jazz, el jamaican sound, el funk, Hendrix y The Beatles entre otros, ha ido desarrollando una técnica en constante evolución, ya sea como dj en bares y discos o como artista del scratch.
Nacido en Buenos Aires en 1975 bajo el nombre de Martín Erlach, en el 2007 ha participado mensualmente en Break Da Rules en Cocoliche.
En eventos tan variados como: las Jamaican Rebel Nights en Niceto Club. Super Club en Buenos Aires News.
Soul Food, el ciclo de música negra por excelencia en Thelonious Club y a partir del 2007 también en Niceto Club.
E-sencial hip-hop concert, también en Niceto Club.
Hip-hop Cultura Club en Club Araoz y en eventos underground y privados de Capital y Gran Buenos Aires.
Fue residente tres años en el bar Mundo Bizarro la noche de los jueves.
En enero del 2007 fue el residente del Budda Bar Mar del Plata.
Ha trabajado para empresas internacionales como Nike Argentina, musicalizando durante todo un mes, un predio de la Sociedad Rural Argentina.
El 25/05/2008 musicalizó durante 12 horas la exposición de arte Puma Urban Art realizada en el Auditorio Buenos Aires.
Es también colaborador de distintas bandas desde su lugar de artista del scratch, contribuyendo así a la difusión de un estilo nuevo para la escena musical local.
