Let's see here: Going to concerts, the bunny from Donnie Darko, Disco Stu from The Simpsons, Denny's waitresses, grafitti, getting born...oh, and watching the freaked out facial expressions my friends make when I tell them I haven't seen any of the 'Lord of the Rings' movies, any of the 'Harry Potter' movies, any of the 'Matrix' movies, and I have no intention to. Shit's hilarious.
Müzik
Anticon (all inclinations, especially Deep Puddle Dynamics and cLOUDDEAD), early 90's Native Tongues (A Tribe Called Quest, De La Soul, Black Sheep) Hot Karl, Sage Francis, R.A. the Rugged Man, Buck 65, Sixtoo, Atmosphere, Styles of Beyond, Lexicon, The Game, Aesop Rock, Galapagos4 (Qwel, Robust, Maker, Mestizo, Meaty Ogre, Offwhyte, etc...), Ugly Duckling, Edan, Dorian Three, Glue, Eyedea and Abilities, Saul Williams, System of a Down, Tom Waits, The Donnas, DJ Z-Trip, Deftones, Blood of Abraham, Kanye West, the White Stripes, early J5, Lupe Fiasco, Outkast, Rachel Kann, Nas, Chino XL, early Ras Kass, early Saafir, early Dilated Peoples, early Talib Kweli...get the picture? Good shit.
Go to my MUSIC PAGE and see a dope collage of the album covers I grew up listening to.
Peep this bit of Hip-Hop history: The Nas 'Illmatic' EPK.
More history: At the height of their beef, Jay-Z shocks the world at his 'I Declare War' concert by bringing Nas out, as the two of them perform a 'Dead Presidents/The World Is Yours' medley, then shake hands.

Here's the video to 'UP' - the first single from my upcoming CLEEN POP MUSIC cd, which I recorded with Populus (an MC from Fresno) and DJ Hoppa of Broken Complex:

Here's the video to my song 'Get To Know You':
Thanks to Broken Complex for pulling the whole thing together.

And here I am, training at Broken Complex bootcamp, for the upcoming release of my next solo cd 'SMALL TALK' in October 2008:

OK...
I'm an MC...named CLEEN.
I'm in a crew called Life for the Better. You can go to: www.lftb.net for more on THAT, but as for ME as a PERSON...
I've been told I'm funny (?).
Every Saturday, I get my head buzzed and go out for kung pao chicken.
Oh yeah, and in May 2004 I finished my first official cd, entitled 'Audiobesity'.
It's OK I guess. The few people that have it seem to like it, I just wish more people had it. I also made myself a seperate MUSIC page: check it out here
There's 3 brand new songs on there, as well as 2 old ones.
As far as my next solo cd goes, I finished it in Febuary of '06:
It's called 'Old Man Winter' due to my crankiness when I'm babysitting the younger members of my crew. I'm sort of like the den-mother of LFTB. Or wait, that should read den-FATHER...oh well, fuck it. And just for the record, the work-a-holic in me refuses to sit still. I'm already working on my next cd...
But until that's done, I made a cd with my homie PLURAL CLARITY. We call ourselves Thee Unseen Tekneeks. Here's the cover:
It's title 'And Onward Goes This Thing Of Ours...' refers to the fact that the songs were recorded in April of '04 and we never forgot how good they were. It just took a while for us to formally release them.
But since The Unseen Tekneeks cd was a limited pressing (for now) it's not for sale at cdbaby.com as of yet. You can only get it at shows, but I'm working on changing that.
Since the Unseen Tekneeks cd took me so damn long to finish & release, I've pretty much been working nonstop since then...trying to make, record & release as much work as I can.
In the spring of 2008, my mixtape 'Asleep On The Speaker' (which consists of unreleased songs from me, as well as other members of LFTB) was completed. It's a FREE cd but it was another short run, so once they're gone...they're GONE.
In October of '08, the 'Get To Know Me' DVD I had been working on with Broken Complex was finished as well. It features the first ever gig I had with a live band, the BC All Stars, backing me up. There's also videos, studio footage and an interview.
And in December of '08, I closed out the year by releasing my 3rd cd 'Small Talk':
But in the meantime my last 2 cd's are now available at www.cdbaby.com!!!
Go HERE to purchase 'Audiobesity', and HERE to get 'Old Man Winter'.
I also made myself a profile on GIZMO (it's a myspace clone, but I can't seem to find a way to update it!),
on BLOG SPOT
just because the blogs I write on here aren't enough sometimes,
and I pretty consistently add stuff to my FLICKR photo page.
Check them out if you like...
Also, I'd like to do more shows. So promoters interested in adding me to one of your show line-up's, get at me. I'm willing to travel.
Oh yeah one more thing, I hAtE iT WhEn fOoLS tYpE lIkE ThIs - reading that shit gives me a headache...
Let us all, take this time right now, to stop & think! To appreciate & be grateful for all the positive things & people that are in our life's RIGHT NOW!!!!! What are you grateful for!??? Because we have all been blessed with God's grace, we ALL have much to be thankful for!!! I wish you lots of love, a softened heart & good health this Thanksgiving!!!
