    .......... .... Birthed in 2000, Clemmer was the project of brothers Matt and Todd Clemmer, pursuing a love for music. After two years of various line-up changes, Clemmer added bass player Ryan Littman and Mark McFarland on drums to finally assemble the Clemmer line-up. After frequently performing at clubs all over the Dayton, OH area, including Canal Street Tavern, Oregon Express, and Gillys, Clemmer was declared winner of 2001 Dayton Band Playoffs. This opened doors for Clemmer to play Columbus venues such as Newport Music Hall and Brickyard. Out of state, Clemmer has performed at Model Search America conventions in cities all over the country. .. Since Clemmer's first show, their fanbase exploded, creating a whirlwind of unity. Their fans are all known as "Family". As each show passed, new Family members were being birthed, and the existing ones grew ever so strong. .. Life happened and 2005-2006 found the members of Clemmer in different states, both in location and in the school of life. Show frequency dwindled, and band fervor within the ranks wained. Morale at an all time low, various members of the "Family" took it upon themselves to not let go of the dream made so real from Clemmer table. With some time, the help of the Family, and no doubt a shovelful of grace, the boys of Clemmer are being "helped back up again" to once again raise the banner of The Love, the Music, and the Message. .. Currently, Clemmer has only one recorded EP entitled Round 1. The tracks of this EP are now being posted for FREE download, and a limited edition repressing will be soon completed for sales at live shows. This limited discography is all about to change, however, as the band has new ambitions of writing a new full length to be out in 2008, and a new manager who's making sure it happens. While writing, Clemmer will be revisiting their many fans in regular shows, and without question will be gaining Family in the process. Also in queue is a new website (www.clemmershow.com), and a renewed drive for total world domination. .. To explain Clemmer's style is a difficult task. To put it under an existing genre, may be doing the Clemmer style an injustice. The music Clemmer creates challenges people. Clemmers music is a fusion of various influences, including Alternative Rock, and Hip-Hop. Clemmer is versatile and original. The songs are singable, at times screamable, danceable, while often conducive to visions of protest marches. Live shows are powerful, creating an unexplainable energy to all those involved. Attending is sure to move even the hardest heart to anthems of emotion. The atmosphere becomes conducive for beautiful things to take place. The presence of love, strength, and hope seem so tangible. All the while, Clemmer also displays a strong warfare-type spirit about them, fighting to help us all fight. Its empowering, yet surreal. ..
