About me:

Scottish/Irish/Cherokee (Tsalagi), Creative-Idealist, Wanderer.

Travel is one of my passions. Seeing new places and meeting new people fascinate me. I love diversity! Without it, life would be boring. I was raised in America and I have lived all over the great US. Currently residing in Kentucky, but perhaps Canada next! I have lived in Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, North Carolina, Tennessee, Washington State, and Missouri. I have also visited most of the states in the nation.

Music is my other passion. God gave us music to enjoy. There is nothing in this world better than making your own. I love to sing and learn how to play new instruments. I play Native American Flute, Traditional European Flute, Classical Piano and currently learning to play the Guitar. I would like to learn Violin and Harp sometime too! =P

Language is viewed as a tool for communication, but it is also POETRY! I am currently learning Latin American Spanish and Cherokee.

    pretty good, Lydia is in 2nd grade now! Chloe is a huge monster who destroys everything in her path LOL. Craig's on Vac this week so we are getting tons of projects done around the house.

    We are doin great!  I talked to TJ last night.  I am so proud of him.  I wish that Joseph had gone on to school.  You in Kentucky too?  I hear that it is a really pretty place.  We are planning to have a first ever Hicks Family Re-union in May of next year, would be neat if you guys could come.  Plans are not set completely yet.  Hoping to go to Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri and camp.  I will let ya know when we figure it all out.  We are going camping the last weekend in August at Greers Ferry Lake up north of Conway.  I told TJ wrong and will have to let him know too.  He thought that he would be in school already.  Anyways!  We will take the pontoon boat and pull everyone on the tube and some will be scuba diving.   It will be loads of fun!  See if ya can come, would be great to see ya!  Love ya!
