From the depths of Cleveland, Ohio, emerges a new and fresh sound in Rock n Roll. The Lorax Tree fuses Progressive Rock, Drum ‘n’ Bass, and Trance to create a unique sound and memorable experience. Concerts are like an intense dream; stunning and yet enjoyable. Even though the band is only a trio, listeners will swear the band has a bunch of synthesizers playing. Yet, truly The Lorax Tree manages all that mayhem with only one guitar, bass and drum set. The band has been compared to King Crimson, Yes, Incubus, The Police and Tool. Regulars at The Grog Shop, the premiere venue for up and coming bands in Cleveland, The Lorax Tree has opened for national and international bands such as The Pnuma Trio, Tortured Soul, Dub Trio, DataRock, and Lotus.
It became clear after the Google Incident, that the Noisemakers’ moniker would no longer be viable. With the support of their fans, and rock and roll heavyweight, Bruce Hornsby, the guys in the band slashed and burned the old name, making fertile ground for the fresh growth. Though many alternative names were considered, none took root like the evocative Lorax Tree. Growing rapidly to maturity, The Lorax Tree is wild and beautiful, and spreading like a weed. Reaction to the new growth has been swift, with fans seen dancing in the streets and tearing at the social fabric of corporatized America.
The band had this to say, “The Lorax Tree is a call to arms against rampant greed and thoughtless despoliation of the earth. We know what bad end will come if profit is the only motivation. Unless…” The Lorax Tree pays homage to "The Lorax," a popular, yet controversial story by Dr. Seuss.
Bruce Hornsby is believed to love the new name, and the fact that it’s not his.

Its all ages! doors open at 7:00pm they sell fairly cheap beer and wine there, but security's loose, and i'm sure their drinks aren't as cheap as stuffing a 5th of 110 vodka into your girlfiends purse, Just a heads up. I don't like our fans being discuraged to come see good music by bar prices.
