I was born and raised in Cleveland, OH. I attended Youngstown State University briefly and majored in Physics and Mathematics before seriously considering picking up a microphone. In February 2007, I worked as a production assistant on the Bone Thugs-N-Harmony movie "I Tried" in the worst weather Cleveland had seen in thirty years. In fact, the weather was so bad that it caused for script re-writes for all of the Cleveland scenes which would then be shot in Los Angeles. I left with the film crew on my own dime in pursuit of a new beginning. I took to working on sets very well and quckly made a name for myself working on over 30 music videos in a short span. I made an uprecedented jump from PA to 1st AD working for directors Rage (Dale Restighini/Raging Nation Films) and Kevin Shulman (Axiom-8.com). Meanwhile, I took an internship at Columbia Records in the A&R department for Kevin Kusatsu (Sen. Vp. A&R) which in turn led to an assistant's position with Jack Splash's (J Records) manager, Eric Hochstein. I resigned from that position June 2009 and returned home to Cleveland late August. to launch my career in rap music.
My musical influences are recollections of the various Jazz records my mother and father would play: Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Alice Walker, Thelonious Monk, Art Blakely, and many others too numerous to name. Personnally, rap music is my favorite genre of music then Jazz. Some of my favorite artists are Pimp C, Cam'ron, T.I., Tupac, Notorious B.I.G., Jay-Z, Soulja Slim, B.G., Ghostface Killah, Raekwon, Young Jeezy, Jack Splash, Scarface, Outkast, Snoop Dogg, Dogg Pound, Yukmouth and C-Bo, Juvenille, Lil Wayne, Hot Boyz, Yo Gotti, 3-6 Mafia, Project Pat, Wu-Tang Clan, NWA, Dr. Dre, Master P, C-Murder, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Juelz Santana, Jim Jones, Nipsey Hussle, Big Wy, Paul Wall, Chamillionaire, Missy and more, more, more...i love everything about music. It's my favorite form of entertainment. I'll take music over anything tv or device related any day!
I write from my heart. I write from my own particular, unique standpoint and point of view that describes circumstances i've experienced or have come into contact with.
