MY WORK: JUST WRAPPED: 1. We The People - Giant screen format / IMAX picture on the founding fathers, for the Bill of Rights Institute, produced and directed by the very talented duo of Aimee Larrabee her co-director John Altman. Live action filming in Virginia with state of the art green screen filming on "virtual sets" in Kansas City. Thanks again to our terrific hard-working team!
2. The Death of Lincoln Ark Media for PBS American Experience. John Wilkes Booth rides again - and this time Guy Gane finaly got to do the role - and was superb, as was the rest of our wonderful cast and crew.
RECENT AWARDS: We won the best costumes award for Dean Teaster's Ghost Town at the 2008 Action on Film Festival in Pasadena, July 31. The film was produced by DJ Perry and his team at Collective Development Inc.
Upcoming Releases "Ghost Town" is being released by Lionsgate this fall.
"The Real George Washington", which we worked on last December, is airing on the Nat. Geo. Channel in November.

About me:
After a 30 year career in PR / politics / public affairs in Washington, London and the former Soviet Union -- including 8 years running a successful web design company, I chucked it all to become a full time history nerd. I now work as a consultant / producer / designer for historical film and TV documentaries and also do historical costume design for film and run a film wardrobe rental house as well as a history-focused production services company (you've probably seen some of my work on The History Channel and didn't know it - those credits zoom by pretty fast).

CLEYDAEL
I left DC Beltway-land and moved to Cleydael, a small yet historic antebellum plantation house 70 miles from metro DC, where I live with a wide assortment of critters: 5 horses, 4 dogs, 4 cats, two sheep (one of whom thinks she's a dog), two room-mates /co-workers and their pets, and one crotchety old cavalry reenactor. and And sometimes a friendly ghost or two...(didn't believe in them until I ended up with a couple as roomies.) We're on the John Wilkes Booth escape route tour run by the Surratt Society.
Who I'd like to meet: Virginia State Legislators who support the Virginia Production Alliance's incentives package!!
Watch the video:

Hello :) I wanted to come by and visit, and to let you know that I'll be a guest on Para Women Radio on Sunday, September 23, at 8 p.m. EST. Come by this link and listen that night!
Don't worry if you can't make it that night though because you can download the show anytime after the live run. It'll be a good show and my first public engagement talking about reincarnation and Fanny Chamberlain.
Thanks for visitin' and postin' yer comments. It has actually been more like 37 years building my impression!
I find it hard to believe how time flys. Karen and I will have to get out to the farm this summer if the offer still stands neighbor.
