Scally’s Western-Super-mare - Gig review
"Okay I’ll admit it I was expecting a Thin Lizzy coves band tonight, and boy was I wrong. Black Rose are instead a horrendously talented four piece from Cornwall with a nifty line in original hard rock music. Making a nice change, they sensibly split their set into one half originals, and the other of mostly covers."

CD review –
"Black Rose were signed because of their originality. Powerful lyrics, and excellent musicianship and high standard of recording which places them on a level with some of the top artists albums in the world."
Christian Murison (Cornish Guardian)
Gig review - I am not going to bother to review any more covers because the band should be judged on their excellent original material. If I saw this band at the Gods I would be begging for their CD. Hard rock labels take note - Black Rose will impress you.
