About me: Well heck,where do I start? I'm the bassist (thanks Melinda) for the touring blues band Watermelon Slim & The Workers.I play alot of gigs all over the country and Canada.When I'm home I spend time with my kids,hang out seeing my friend's playing music around town,look for deals at the goodwill,and watch movies.
For those of you who haven't heard, a benefit concert and jam is being held at Fatboy's, 5816 S. Agnew, Okla City, sunday Nov 15 at 4:00. The band is hoping for donations to help defray travel expenses to the Int'l Blues Competition finals in Memphis next January.
Benmore blues band is winner of the 2009 Oklahoma Blues Society local Interational Blues Challenge! Thanks for all the support. We appreciate the judges who gave of their time and effort as well as OBS members who attended and cheered us on. We will represent Okla. City in Memphis January 10, 2010 and play our hearts out. For those of you planning to attend, see you there. For you unfortunate ones, see you when we get back. We'll tell you all about it.
