About me:
This space is all about my teenage fantasy adventure novels set in the Stone Age 6,000 years ago. The story starts when the heroine, Mia a girl of 11 winters is rescued from an evil shaman by a log boat trader. It is all about their adventures in the settlements of Stone Age Europe. Mia then starts to discover she is the reincarnated high priestess of a secret goddess cult. As she becomes aware she has magical powers the dark forces of Lord Zundel notice her and try and pull her into the shadow realm. The book is full of adventure, mysticism, coming of age and magic. She is like Harry Potters sister in the Stone Age. A BIT ABOUT ME......I was an ex-hippy that discovered a passion for the ancient past when on holiday in Cornwall. Moved down when I was 18 and married and lived around the county for 21 years. Divorced 13 years ago I am now aged 57. I buried myself in Experimental Archaeology after my divorce to try and discover what it was really like to live in the Stone Age. Came up with some original discoveries and eventually worked on the Ice Man ‘Otzi’ artefacts making part of his outfit for the museum where he is. Wrote and published lots of academic papers on lots of different subjects such as houses, textiles, metallurgy, ceramics etc. Got accepted by the academics then found myself writing these novels, which have not only changed my life, but appear to have deeply affected those that read them.Go to www.cliffdreamers.com for all the news about the quest for the golden Goddess held in Cornwall last October and readers reviews about the book.
