QuestHelper - Compiles a list of waypoints for the quests in your quest log, and sorts them so as to minimize the distance between them, and so that they happen in the correct order. In other words, it tells you how to complete all your quests while walking as little as possible.
Carbonite - Our new favorite addon! Eliminates the need for QuestHelper or Cartographer and several other popular addons by compiling similar features all into one interface! Compiles a list of waypoints for the quests in your quest log, and sorts them so as to minimize the distance between them, and so that they happen in the correct order. In other words, it tells you how to complete all your quests while walking as little as possible. You can also track friends and enemies and it greatly improves the game map and gives it a google Earth feel. Very cool addon! If you install this you don't need QuestHelper or Cartographer.
Cartographer - Tweaks the hell out of your game map (not really needed if you're using Carbonite); includes maps of all battlegrounds and instances (and notes location of bosses). Lets you resize the map (adjust transparency and position), see coordinates, add notes, auto-track herbs and minerals, and lots more!
CT_MailMod - Enhances the game Mailbox, adding better mailing options for easier and faster use.
Crap Away - This small addon automatically sells all useless gray items in your bags whenever you visit a merchant, so you don't have to search for them all the time. Great way to keep your bags clear while questing.
Bank Items - This addon remembers the contents of your bank, bags, mail and more and displays them anywhere in the world. Also able to remember/display the banks of any character on the same account on any server, as well as searching and exporting lists of bag/bank items out.
Auctioneer - Enhances the Auction House interface with tons of great (albeit sometimes a little bit complicated) features. Also recommend downloading the Enchantrix, Informant and Bottom Scanner addons. In my opinion, it is better to install these separately rather than the whole suite as they are different programs. The full suite is more complicated to use than the items individually installed. A must have for making money in game! Once addon is installed, you'll want to let it scan the AH at least once before you play as it records a history of items in the AH to help with pricing (this accumulates each time the scan is run). First scan can take up to 20 minutes but they get faster the more frequently you scan each time you login to play.
Auctionator - Much simpler to use than Auctioneer but also contains a lot less features (but sometimes less is more - this is our favorite Auction House addon). Auctionator performs a quick scan of the AH for identical items to the one you're posting to help you quickly price your item and undercut the competition. Works brilliantly; however, if no identical items exist in AH when posting, no price help is available.
OneBag3 - A replacement for the default game bags that combines all the bags into one frame. There are other game bag addons but OneBag is very stable and easy to use. This version affects your personal bags only, not bank or guildbank.
Atlas - Detailed maps of all instances, dungeons, battlegrounds and even flight points! Again, not really needed if you use Carbonite.
OmniCC - Cooldown indicator that adds a numeric countdown for all your spells.
Fluid Frames - Great addon that makes virtually all windows in game moveable! You can also configure the addon to enable resizing of windows in game, but BE CAREFUL - too much modification can mess up your entire interface, forcing you to reset it all and lose your custom settings. Unless you are savvy with technical UI adjustments, I recommend only using this addon for the convenience of being able to move windows around on the page. If that's all you use it for you shouldn't have any problems at all.
Armory - Shows all armory information as seen on the offical site from Blizzard Entertainment, in game, for all your characters, on all realms. Also lets you share information about quests, characters, recipies and items with other Armory users. Works by typing /armory or applying an icon to the Titan bar or setting a bind key (such as SHIFT-A). Saves you from having to log off and on to other characters to see what items and stats they have. Very cool!
There are others we like to use as well (such as the Titan Bar with Titan panel addons like Titan Quests and Titan Skills), but these are some of the easiest to install and use. Hope this helps! :)

About me: Welcome to the Cliff Jumpers With Gas guild MySpace page. To answer your first question: Yes, there's a story behind the name... It's a dumb one though (and to tell you the truth, I can't even remember it right now), so we'll just move on to more important details (haha). My name is Dave, I'm the Guild Master and my beautiful wife, Tammy, is Chief Officer/co-Guild Master. We wanted to set up a page to promote our guild as well as clarify the guild's objectives, terms, and expectations. Of course, we'd also like to meet our fellow guild comrades in the world of MySpace, so do request to be added as a friend. Since both Tammy and I have actual lives outside the game and don't have time to manage a full on WoW Blog site, we hope this will suffice and provide a sufficient opportunity to meet fellow guild members, share information, and answer questions.
Feel free to check out the guild bank in the game (only "members" and higher ranks may withdraw items), but please be kind and deposit items and gold too so others can benefit. Please do not remove items for the purpose of selling them in the AH or you may be demoted or even kicked from the guild and the guild's MySpace page. Just be considerate of others and we'll treat you the same. If there is an item you really would like to have from the bank and don't have access to retrieve it yet, please just ask and we'll be happy to see what we can do.
Initiates and Members may also use guild repair if you're short on gold.
Finally, we want to keep this guild "family safe" so please, when posting comments, keep them clean or you may be reprimanded and/or potentially removed from the Guild. Initiate - Welcome to the Guild! This is the designation that all new guild recruits receive unless a higher rank is initially granted by the Guild Master or an Officer. Initiates may freely use guild chat (Listen and Speak) and may use Guild Repair. They may also view guild bank tabs, but may not withdraw items at this rank. Hang in there though... We watch for honorable behavior (i.e. contributions, helpful assistance, friendly interaction, etc.) and will advance your rank in time as deserved. Access to the Vent server is prohibited until the Initiate reaches at least "Member" status or is granted permission by the Guild Master.
Member - The next rank above Initiate. Members are allowed all the same privileges as Initiates, but Members may withdraw as many as 5 items/stacks per day from the guild bank. Member's may also use guild repair up to 2 gold per day. Members may use the Vent server if desired (please ask the Guild Master for more information). The Vent server is strictly for Cliff Jumpers With Gas members only! Please do not share your login password with anyone else. Thank you.
Veteran - The next rank above Member. Veteran guildies are allowed all the same privileges as Members, but Veterans may withdraw as many as 10 items/stacks per day from the guild bank. Vetrans can also use guild repair up to 5 gold per day. Veterans may also invite other people to the guild! Vetran members may use the Vent server if desired (please ask the Guild Master or an Officer if you need help). The Vent server is strictly for Cliff Jumpers With Gas members only! Please do not share your login password with anyone else.
Officer - The highest rank in the guild below Guild Master. Officers can do virtually everything the Guild Master can short of changing the guild's primary information or promoting other members to Officer status. Only the Guild Master can grant the "Officer" status to members. Officers may invite, promote, demote and dismiss (if necessary) other members from the guild. They also have access to Officer Guild Chat and can edit Public and Officer notices as well as have virtually unlimited access to the guild bank. Officers have access to the Vent server and may grant permission to other users at their discretion.
