Armed with acoustic instruments including National resonator guitars, bass, Hawaiian guitar, mandolin, ukulele, harmonica and a fews days off of their respective bands busy touring schedules, Ekoostik Hookah and The Colin John Band, Cliff Starbuck and Colin John have created a rootsy and rollicking acoustic album that is bound to please fans of rootsy and soulful music.
General Delivery features stylistic acknowledgements to Bukka White,Blind Willie McTell,Mississippi John Hurt, Robert Johnson, Reverend Gary Davis, Sol Hoopii,Skip James,Blind Willie Johnson and others while showcasing and allowing Cliff's formidable bluegrass and Americana influences to meld seamlessly and shiningly with Colin's open-tuned blues and Hawaiian-influenced guitar excursions.
The result is an album is in the respectful and fun spirit of roots and blues masters past with Cliff & Colin's sights looking keenly toward the future.

"The Sweet Hollywaiians have probably the best feel for this 20's music of any string band working today. They manage the rare feat of sounding relaxed even when their playing is hot, are top notch musicians with tasteful arrangements and a full, rich, warm sound.Plus, they have a nice gamut of tunes, from King Nawahi to Giovanni Vicari to Bobby Leecan.
