Based in the Midlands of England, the Lemmings are a lively rockin' band playing covers of 50's and 60's hits in the styles of Gene Vincent, Bill Haley, Eddie, Buddy and Elvis. We also have some cracking original songs written and performed in swing, billy and doo-wop styles. Formed from the ashes of the hugely popular Jive 5 who split two years ago. Terry the bass and Tony the drums worked together in the iconic 1970's Coventry showband Amber Sin when they played along with the likes of Alvin Stardust, Jigsaw, The Sorrows, Showaddywaddy, Marty Wilde and The Fortunes. They hooked up with ace rockabilly guitarist/vocalist Krazy Davy in 2007 to form The Lemmings. Already they have played at some of the top Rock'n'Roll pub and club venues in the midlands including Kenilworth, Coventry, Heanor, Hinckley, Birmingham, Rugby, Northampton and Baddeley Green; all of which had the dancers busy on the floor, jiving, bopping and strolling to the authentic beat.
The scariest thing is that a lot of the people grooving to our Elvis and Eddie Cochran inspired sets are teenagers and twentysomethings!!! It just goes to show that you can't keep a good song down!

The Tide from Leamington Spa has been given the big thumbs up by judges at the Live and Unsigned auditions. The Tide have made it through and will now be performing at the live stages of Live and Unsigned 2009. 4th April @ The Assembly Leamington Spa.
One of the founding fathers of British Rock n Roll VINCE EAGER playing at the Standard Triumph Club, Tile Hill, Coventry on Saturday 13th December 2008. He released 15 singles and 5 albums on Decca and Parlaphone. Vince appeared regularly on "Oh boy" and "6-5 Special" and was a close friend of Billy Fury. He toured in 1960 with Gene Vincent and Eddie Cochran and transported them aroung the country in his Standard Triumph. He has some great stories to tell and is a great Rock n Roller.
