ABOUT CLIF: Clif Norrell is a highly sought-after record producer, recording engineer, and music mixer who has produced and/or engineered classic recordings by high profile, critically acclaimed, and influential artists including Jeff Buckley, Weezer, Sting, Rush, Faith No More, R.E.M., Jewel, No Doubt, as well many other indie/alternative acts. Clif has been awarded multiple Gold and Platinum sales awards for the US and many other countries for his creative contributions to these albums, in addition to many of his projects being nominated for Grammy awards and their equivalents in countries outside the United States. Clif has worked in many countries across the globe in addition to nearly every state in the U.S., in some of the world's greatest and most legendary studios.

BIO: Clif began his studio career at the legendary Ocean Way Recording in Los Angeles in the mid 1980's. Throughout his years there as staff engineer, Clif honed his skills while working with superstars like Bruce Springsteen, Prince, the Beastie Boys, Van Halen, and many others. He also learned his craft by working under such legendary producers and engineers as Arif Mardin, Glyn and Andy Johns, Norman Granz, Al Schmitt, and many other top contemporary producers. It was also at Ocean Way where Clif began working with producer/engineer Scott Litt, on the platinum debut album by Indigo Girls, starting a long working relationship which has so far seen them collaborate on over ten albums, including R.E.M.'s classic "Automatic for the People".

Clif has been traveling a lot lately, returning to England periodically to work with such British mainstays as Skunk Anansie, All Saints, Echo and the Bunnymen, and Mansun, in addition to several recent projects in continental Europe. A recent album by Dutch artist Anouk, which Clif produced, has gone triple platinum in Holland and Belgium, and produced the top selling single of all time in Holland.

    Hey Cliff!
You've asked us to inform you when there's new material in our player. It's been a while but the record is almost finished and we're already doing some live shows in Holland and Belgium. One of the last shows was an aftershow for The Eagles Of Death Metal in Paradiso, Amsterdam; which was really great!

    Bye for now!
Cheers, Tom, Jaap, Jesse & Mike

    Clif,

Remember us? That crazy band who linked up with you a few months ago on myspace and then didn't release a new song till just now? :-)

Just wanted to let you know we've put out our new tune, "(No Helen) I Won't Take You Back" - stop by sometime and let us know what you think. It was a tough one to produce but we think it turned out pretty well for a home studio...
