I just finished a six year tenure in Boulder, Colorado with the Team Hideous Climbing Club. After six years of skiing, climbing, and general debauchery, it was time to change things up a bit. I never knew it would be this hard to do, because I've always wanted to do it, but Erin and I have moved to Quito, Ecuador. We're living in a Italian-countryside looking part of town called Guapalo, perched on a terraced hillside above a church from the 1600's. So far, the move has been great, we are teaching at the Colegio Americano, a respected local school which caters to influential Ecuadorian families. We are lucky to have so many supportive friends and families, thank you to all of you, and if you can make it down, we've got two spare bedrooms waiting for you!
Happy Birthday from your long-lost Homeland! We've had an awesome summer so far-- temperatures have been just the other side of fantastic (today is gorgeous, yesterday was hot-as-hell), wildflowers are in bloom in the mountains, and the Sangria is flowing at happy hour at D'Napolis while all premiums are still half price at Boulder Cafe. :) Need I say more? We miss you guys! Maybe Nate and I should come crash on your couch sometime. Anyway, enjoy your own personal holiday! XO Michelle

For gods sake come home at some point if not to go climbing, to share your wealth of music.
Yeah, actually a regular at Red Lob used to be a pilot for American Airlines and he offered me a chance to come out to his house and try flying. I came out one day and kinda just got in to it. Long story short, the guy likes my work ethic so he's getting me a $1500 scholarship towards me getting a private pilots license... my jaw dropped too.
I'm learning to fly on a 1947 Piper Cub which is pretty comparable to driving a golf cart as your first car but I have fun with it.
I don't tell women about the golf cart part when I tell them I'm getting a pilots license though... they hear "pilots license" and I swear i can hear their hearts melting. hahahah
out-climbing henkels... yeah.... we'll pretend thats possible as long as you're not on your death bed. haha but yeah, fat and lazy.... its kinda depressing but at the same time, fantastic.
not really, i'm actually focusing ALOT on school. I'm not wrestling this year so, i've essentialy become fat and useless... but i've got better grades... even trade? meh.
Dropkick Murphys are coming in march though... should be a good show.
Hello mate, Hope all is well in your world and you have a wonderful holiday season! We really enjoyed playing in Ireland recently. Check out the new clip on our site from our Ireland 2007 tour - The Indulgers performing "Trouble With A Capitol T" with Johnny Fean vocalist/guitarist from the legendary Irish band Horslips - one of the original celtic rock bands - in Ennis, Co. Clare. Have a fantastic new year! Your friends, The Indulgers
The new job is going really well but they are keeping me waay busy with research stuff. Can't complain though as I'm having a blast. Would love to get back down to Ecuador, especially to see you all. I also want to climb Antisana. How are things down there? You're in Quito right? How is that? Do you get a chance to travel around much?
Trailers great (cost less than $100 to fix up); I'm jobless - but out of money so it fits; the syphilis was not really syphilis... rather a lube issue (apparently I should try some foreplay)
"Viva Guapalo" it is then. (The fiestas are because they knew you were coming.)
I'm awesome! Living the Pura Vida here in Boulder. House is great, the rents just paid a visit, mama's getting big, ran the Rattlesnake Ramble in Eldo today ...
Cheers brother! I'm so glad you guys are living the dream. Keep the cross-continental love flowin!
We need you. Hell, I need you. I'm a mess without you. I miss you so damn much. I miss being with you, I miss being near you. I miss your laugh. I miss your scent; I miss your musk. When this all gets sorted out, I think you and me should get an apartment together.
