IT'S THE WHITE COMPANY!

The White Company with the Climb the Tail trophy

The Climb the Tail Final was held on Saturday 26 January 2008 at NEWI William Aston Hall, Mold Road, Wrexham, North Wales.

It was an incredible concert with amazing performances from all the bands. The judges took a good half hour to reach their decision but in the end they felt that The White Company had delivered a faultless set and that their gritty, confident performance was delivered with the passion that showed a sheer determination to get their messages across to the audience.

As well as the Climb the Tail trophy recognising their achivement of beating fifty bands, they get a valuable prize that includes a publishing and distribution deal, a viral marketing campaign, a day in a well respected recording studio, a professionally produced animated music video and a website.

The six bands played in reverse order of their performance in stage 2 of the competition, with Jessicas Ghost up first followed by Satellite State, The Collards, The White Company, Sex Radio, and Up-Lift.

The Climb the Tail Finals Concert will be held on Saturday 26th January 2008 at the William Aston Hall at NEWI College in Wrexham. It’s for unsigned bands, and the winner gets loads of top and highly useful prizes including a record deal. There is 1 day left in this comp (it ends Jan the 2nd) and we are doing really well.
