"Clinic was formed in 1997 by Ade Blackburn and Harley following the split of their previous band, Prue Morning. Brian Campbell and Carl Turney joined the band and soon their first EP, I.P.C. Subeditors Dictate Our Youth, was released on their own Aladdin's Cave of Golf record label. The EP managed to make John Peel's Festive 50 at the end of the year and two other self-financed singles followed in 1998.
In 1999, the band signed to Domino Records and the following year their debut album, Internal Wrangler, was released, preceded by the "The Return of Evil Bill" single. Album track "The Second Line" was also released as a single and later used in a television advert for Levi's jeans. In the same year, the band toured with Radiohead and played at All Tomorrow's Parties and Scott Walker's Meltdown.
Two further albums, Walking With Thee and Winchester Cathedral, followed in 2002 and 2004 respectively and the band are set to release their fourth album later this year. "Tusk" will be the first single from the album, and was made available as a free download from the band's official website in February.
Blackburns's clenched-teeth vocals are a distinct trademark of the band, and they are also known for wearing surgical masks while performing and in promotional photos. Despite widespread critical acclaim, the band have not been commercially very successful and have yet to break into the top 40 in either the album or singles charts."

okay, so i've kept this pretty much a secret, cuz i didnt want anybody to know i was dieting again. i know, i know, i hear it all the time ... you're so pretty, you're so thin, you don't need to lose weight, but whatever!! i know what i need! heh, anyway. i started taking this diet hoodia pills, and wow! they work soooo good. they killed my appetite, gave me sooo much energy, and i dropped the rest of the weight i wanted to! so ... ya'll HAVE to try these out. click here to go check it out .. i promise yah they freakin work!
