I taught juniors and seniors mainly, a few sophomores. Even the ones that give you a hard time you get attached to. I am not sure where and when his training will be. I will ask. He works for Conoco Phillips now, believe it or not. He likes it, though, and now he can work toward retirement. I don't have a job yet. We are going to Florida in a week, then when we get back we are moving, then I will really focus on the job hunt. I am optimistic, though. I had briefly questioned if I wanted to still teach, but after today, I know I do, because I realized how much I influenced the kids and how much they influenced me. It's hard, but I am sure you know how that is in your line of work! Ben will let ya know if they decide to send him to CA for training.....have a great weekend, and just remember, at least you aren't havin tornadoes in your neck of the woods....
Yeah, Texas, here we come! It's near Denton. North Texas. I am excited. How's Cali? Ben may come to Cali for training with his new job soon. He should look you up if he is anywhere close. I today completed my first year of teaching, and the kids shoe polished my car and said they love me and will miss me. I never thought I would get so attached in such a short time. I feel so blessed, and am ready for a new adventure.....
