"solid and experienced performer with the aching voice of Tweedy and Big Star" - giraffecycle.com
"It's hard to keep a band together in this town" Clinton remarked the night his former band, The Carousels, rocked a small Saint John pub for the last time. But by the time that day had come, the energetic front man known for his hard driving guitars and raspy vocals, had already recorded his decidedly more intimate solo EP, These Stars We See, which was released through Sandbar Music, the same label where Two Hours Traffic and Catherine MacLellan released their first discs.
Since that time, the multi-instrumentalist has been honing his folk sensibilities and songwriting while recording a 6 song disc with friend and Reckless Sweethearts songstress, Tracey Lavigne.
Including songs that have become performance staples like Words, and Angels of Canterbury Street, Clinton's upcoming full length album promises to feature some of his most personal, and raw original material to date.

Hey Clinton, Really great show last night, you guys rocked! Very nice turn out too. The trio of girls were also really great, enjoyed them a lot. Well done, well done my friend. See you soon. xo Babs
Hey Clinton, I'm glad my tunes could brighten up your day. Consider this: I'm broke and my 4-yr old laptop turned itself off for the last time a few days ago. I'm organizing a technological funeral, maybe get a few penguins involved. We might even start collecting money to have it sent to the sun to evaporate. We'll see. But here's the bright side of it all: it's summer and it's time to blossom, god damn it! I should get out of my cocoon and enjoy the sun. You too, my friend. Let's keep rock n' roll kicking!
Hey Clinton! You guys did great on Wednesday night! Also really loved Elliot Brood. I think they were a lot better live than their recordings. It seems it normally goes that way though, right ? No worries about Sunday. Catherine just blows my mind every time I see her. She has an incredible voice. Good to hear from you Clinton, and maybe see you soon. cheers, babs
Hey Clinton,
I used to live in Bellingham, WA and my son played music with Becca and Nate (he currently plays with Joel Willoughby in various shows). His band is called Sanoma and they are currently working on a C.D. Nice to meet you through myspace and hope to see you sometime in the future!
Take care...
