I enjoy landscape design, graphic arts, decorating, photography, painting, and writing. I'm an avid gardener. I go to a lot of auctions and yard sales and sell my finds at the flea market.
Music
Not much I don't like but if I have to pick... Eagles, Bob Seger, Allman Bros., Dixie Chicks, Rickie Lee Jones, Billie Holiday, Gerry Mulligan, Dave Brubeck, Bonnie Raitt, James Taylor, Pink Floyd, and Gretchen Wilson. Not even close to a complete list.
Movies
Butch Cassidy, the Godfather series, the Sting, the King & I, Lust for Life, the Graduate, All That Jazz, the French Connection, Cabaret, All the President's Men, Bonnie & Clyde...that's enough for now.
Television
Broad catagories include HGTV, Discovery, Learning Channel, Sports, all the News channels except Faux News. Individual shows I'm currently watching include Grey's Anatomy, House, Boston Legal, Survivor, Real Time with Bill Maher, the Daily Show, and SNL.
Books
Can't read as much as I'd like to, but favs include 1984, anything by William Goldman, the Godfather series, Jack Kerouac, Max Shulman, Stephen King. I read lots of gardening, art, architectural, decorating, and political books. Also like a good biography if it's about someone I admire.
Currently reading "The Secret Man" by Bob Woodward.
Heroes
The Dixie Chicks, Edward R. Murrow, Eugene McCarthy, John Lennon, Vincent Van Gogh.

About me:
Im a cynical optimist, a caustic bleeding heart, a barely breathing leftward leaning dichotomy. Im really pretty pathetic. Please help me.
I'm now completely 100% officially retired. I can't live on my Social Security so I have to keep a few irons in the fire, mostly embezzlement, stock fraud, and whenever possible, exploiting widows and orphans. I also have a few legitimate endeavours like a couple of websites, some writing, and an occasional gig with the Chippendale Dancers.
Check out my website. It's useful even if you don't live in Pittsburg, it's harmless, and it goes down smoothly with coffee and peanut brittle.
Why am I doing this MySpace thing? I want to become the oldest living MySpace whore with all of the fame and riches that come with that prestigious title.
Who I'd like to meet: Someone with low expectations cause I'm not much of a catch.
I had to put this sign in front of my house to keep from becoming road kill.
I've tried clever ploys and awesome graphics to try to get people to subscribe to my blog, but nothing has worked. I'm now reduced to the only tactic I have yet to try....begging.
I heard MySpace is a good place to pick up chicks.
