Christopher Langley Johnston (CLJ) is a singer/songwriter and artist from Halesowen, England.
Born in 1981 Chris began writing music at an early age. His style developed as a country/folk rock artist taking influences from around the world, from the days of rock and roll to modern pop/rock music from Japan (J-Pop/J-Rock). His tracks are very deep, personal and emotive, his words and music coming straight from the heart.
As well as his online fan base Chris has had success as a live solo artist including gigs in Hollywood, LA, a performance for the BBC at the Mailbox in Birmingham and as a performer in a concert Chris organised for the Bangladesh Flood Disaster Appeal.
Re-recorded and released with Chris' first music video, "Love Again (Love Me Girl)" is a return to Chris’ roots. The song was written whilst at school but has always been a favourite with fans who had listened to the demos or heard Chris perform it live.

Ever wondered what to do in the event of a nuclear threat?
A while ago I found stuff that inspired me to make this film:
Living Under the Shadow of the Nuclear Umbrella
Both artistic (ensure you get the background music!) and educational, it primarily comprises official British government civil defence advice.
Though source materials are quite aged, much remains relevant today.

Just a quick update to let you know that the Shrotaku site has once again changed. The address is still the same as usual (http://www. shrotaku. co. uk) only now it's a Wiki based site.
This means that you can edit pages, add reviews, and all the other fun stuff that you couldn't before.
The forum's also changed over and is now also part of this site.
I'm still in Japan at the mo, but the other committee members are still lurking around so any updates on meets and whatnot will probably come from them through the new site.
