CLOCKSINMOTION may have seen the light in Europe but returned home to Montreal to follow their musical calling. In truth, only the singer came back. After 4 years in the city of lights, writing songs, playing shitty little clubs, drinking wine...he realised that the Parisian lifestyle was taking him further away from the very reason he had set foot on the old continent: music. Despite the release of two E.P.s and a growing fan base, the call from home was too strong to ignore.
The decision to leave, and inevitably, to cease collaboration with the German band mates was difficult, but necessary. Sven, the fabulous guitarist went home to play his 76 Strat to the hordes of German women he had left behind, yearning for his return. We wish him success in all his endeavours. Guenther, ahhh Guenther, you will be remembered for being the bassist that excelled in using his bass in so many ways except for playing music.

After weeks of searching in the wilderness, the nucleus emerged. They set up camp in a converted textile factory above the Lachine Canal beneath the blinking neon lights of the Farine Five Roses sign, “Not quite the Moulin Rouge!” you might say, but their raw energy and penchant for forbidden fruit plunged them into the heart and soul of the thronging Rue Pigalle. Soon the new sound of CLOCKSINMOTION resonated from their loft.
Mike and Dom’s synergy and tight rhythm lay the foundation of the music on which Christian layers his heavy riffs supporting Emmanuel’s biting guitar, sweet melodies and raw voice that will carry you across the spectrum of musical and emotional experience.

The movement we've started for indie artists has grown significantly and consumes all of our time these days.
