There was me, that is Elvis, and my three droogs, that is D.J., Scotty, and Bill. D.J. not being not a D.J., and we sat in Sun Studios making up our rassodocks what to record for a single. A real country dark bastard of a record. Sun Studios recorded Rock and Roll Plus. Rock and Roll plus country, or Rhythm and Blues, or Gospel, which would give you a nice quiet horrorshow three minutes admiring Cruddup And All His Holy Angels And Saints in your left shoe with lights burning all over your mozg. Cruddup Crudova, "Give to Cruddup what belongs to Cruddup"...
OK, setting the record straight. Clockwork Elvis is an Elvis Presley cover band. I (DC) play in several bands in and around New Orleans. I Joined The Junior League (the band not the cookbook people) in May of 07. I've been working with the lovely and talented Kitty Lynn. Hairy Lamb is my latest endeavour, the missing links, and I play my original material in a band called 'Famous'. Clockwork Elvis is a platform to play with musicians that might never have the chance to work together. Conceptually I've woven a convoluted (and sometimes annoying, depending who you ask) reasoning for the name and purpose of the band. Ultimately its a great deal of fun. The lineup continues to evolve. All members have other bands but we all speak the same language when it comes to the King. For more you can visit our website or send me an email. God knows I don't ever shut up about this. Thank you for reading...
A FEW WORDS ABOUT COMMENTS... Thank you to all of you that wish to post your own life views on our page. While we are more than happy to allow 'comments' that advertise performances from those friends we actually know we will refuse any comments about God, your cat, or anything else not directly involving us. If we need to learn about your life we will visit your page and believe it or not we often do. This page strictly exists to help people find out when and where we're playing. We all have personal pages on myspace and suggest you find us there if you want to post pictures of Dorian Gray or whateverelse. Thanks. If this upsets you please remove us from your friends list.
I found this quote. What do you think? "Loyalty doesn't exist. It is a farce, perpetrated by liars upon fools." xoxo From the other half of the most beloved/most reviled couple in New Orleans
