About me: Where would a person live that on the one hand loves the ocean, it's beaches and the boating and fishing and, and, and, and that whole lifestyle 'cept for that stupid ass beach music and shag (make me gag) dancing? No wonder he went to the hills!!
Yet,on the other hand, that same person has come to love the old time mountain music and dance of western North Carolina, Clifftop West Virginia, Galax Virginia, camping and hanging with all the friends he has come to know and love over the past 35 years in the hills. Being a founding member of the Green Grass Cloggers has help seal that deal for life.
Once he got in the hills, he found all this music that came from the mother country-- his last name starts with McL after all!! the Chieftans, Eileen Ivers, Boys of the Louch , An Dochas, Dochas, Jennifer Licko, The Bothy Band, Riverdance, the love of my youth Eileen with Footworks!!!
He also loves the outlaw country music scene of Texas not "Trashville"---thank God for XM Satellite channel 12 .
And , as a product of the 70's there's all that classic rock and metal --in-a-god-da-feaking-da-vi-da- for Christ's sake!!!
He is a huge fan of rockabilly,corn punk,hillbilly surf--Southern Culture on the Skids stuff.
