The Clonakilty International Guitar Festival sponsored by Guinness , now in its 4th year, is a celebration of one of the worlds most versatile and influential musical instruments and pays tribute to all who strum those hallowed six strings.
In true keeping with the festivals title, this year, virtuosos and innovative guitarists from five continents are slinging their six strings over their shoulders and making the pilgrimage to the seaside town of Clon to wash the schools, streets, halls and pubs with every pick, every strum and every tone of music that any acolyte of this glorious instrument could wish for!

Doors are at 8.30 and admission is €10, a small price to pay to see the citys two premier acoustic acts don't you agree? On the off chance you disagree, come down on wednesday next to the Cobblestone, Smithfield Dublin and we'd be happy to discuss it.
