We are Closed Quarter: four individuals from Northumberland, Scotland, Finland and Watford who ended up together in a house in Birmingham and realised we could make some really cracking tunes.
Formed in August 2004, we spent our first year together writing material, recording a demo and playing our first few gigs in Birmingham. in August we relocated to the North-East - the northerners among us felt the need to return to their homelands, and they are took the other half of the band with them. Since moving to Newcastle we have played 5 gigs and are attempting to stamp our mark on the local scene.
The songs you are hearing are from our first demo which we recorded at Robanna's studios in Birmingham on 1st May 2005. They're not perfect, but a start - you will just have to come and see us live to find out what we're really all about. Since recording this we have written a number of songs which we plan to record around New Year 2006.
