The founding members of Close Friends met at College when Anthony Vecchi (lead guitar/vocals) let Jeff Bartell (lead vocals/bass/guitar) borrow his car one overcast day in March. The car ended up breaking down as Jeff drove to the local sub-shop, but the blown gasket in Anthony’s 92 Chevy Lumina was just the beginning of a musical explosion for the two. That summer they began the initial recordings on what was to become Close Friend’s first album, “Everyone is The Same Person.” Working into the fall the duo acquired the talent of Thomas Sullivan (Guitar/Vocals) and after a few duds, found a bright sparkle in the eyes of Kevin Wall (drums). Practicing in a friend’s basement the group held weekly jam sessions to write songs and listen to free-style jazz on midnight cruises to Denny’s. Getting their feet wet (literary) for the first time at a local basement show, Close Friends found success playing as a live act. After releasing their first album the group is currently playing shows in and around the Boston area. New material, a new album, and the release of a DVD are all in the near future for Close Friends as the group of hard-working young men continue to soar towards their destiny.

My new 3 album box set ODESSA delves into the disgusting involvement the United States government had in hiding Nazi war criminals that were deemed, "intelligence assets", to be used against the Russians. ODESSA also examines the enthusiastic role the Franciscan Order, Argentinian and Chilean Governments, and Arab leaders who hated the Jews played in hiding and finding new homes for former fascists. It seems many nations had a reason to keep these monsters from being captured, and this is my attempt to expose the establishment of a Fourth Reich in South America that still exists to this day.
