Dear Lord, You know the road is rocky, with many stones along the way; sometimes my footsteps get so weary it's hard to walk another day.
And, Lord, You know I get so lonely; I feel like all my friends are gone. My children now are grown and married; there's no one left but me at home.
The years, it seems, have crept upon me; vitality is on the wane. My body now is old and hurting; I need a pill to ease the pain.
And sometimes, Lord, I feel so helpless; depression seems to settle in. I contemplate about the future and dream about where I have been.
But, Lord, it's when I'm most despondent, and when I'm feeling more than blue, a voice inside me seems to whisper that I should reach, my God, for You.
Your gentle peace then comes to cloak me and somehow eases all my fears. I feel Your certain, holy presence and shed grateful, cleansing, happy tears.

ALMIGHTY FATHER, Creator, Life Giver, our Banner, Source & Shield, Thy Kingdom come, Thy Will be done on earth as it is in heaven, thank You for this day You have made & privilege to be in it for many didn’t make it, we thank You, also rejoice because of Your Holiness, Grace & Mercy on us & our loved ones, help us to forget the cares of the world today, for every good & perfect thing You Provide, fill our hearts with gladness & light to every dark area of our beings, as Your blessings fall upon us, because we have chosen to trust obey & lean on You, guide our minds & open our understanding as we study & meditate on Your Word. Ephesians 1: 3 May blessing (praise, laudation, and eulogy) be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah) Who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual (given by the Holy Spirit) blessing in the heavenly realm! 4 Even as [in His love] He chose us [actually picked us out for Himself as His own] in Christ before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy (consecrated and set apart for Him) and blameless in His sight, even above reproach, before Him in love. 5 For He foreordained us (destined us, planned in love for us) to be adopted (revealed) as His own children through Jesus Christ, in accordance with the purpose of His will [ because it pleased Him and was His kind intent] 6 [So that we might be] to the praise and the commendation of His glorious grace (favor and mercy), which He so freely bestowed on us in the Beloved. 7 In Him we have redemption (deliverance and salvation) through His blood, the remission (forgiveness) of our offenses (shortcomings and trespasses), in accordance with the riches and the generosity of His gracious favor, Stay safe & have a blessed day my friend 1!!!

Friend, when you edify each other in the admonition of the LORD you edify Christ Jesus Himself giving Glory & honor to God. Christ Jesus loved the Church so much He gave His life. Obedience to Christ Jesus is our goal. TY for your ever thoughtful comment.
